CMC Technology & Solution Joins the Pledge 1% Movement and Pledges to Donate 1% of Time & Talent to the Community

CMC Corporation and CMC TS have always made a positive contribution to society all over Vietnam through many CSR activities or sponsored scholarship for students for many years.

In April 2020, CMC contributed one-day salary of all the employees which equivalent to 3 billion VND to fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The donation was given to three hospitals: National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) and Can Gio Covid-19 Field Hospital in HCMC.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh - Chairman/Executive President of CMC Corporation and Chairman of CMC TS shared: “The contribution of one-day salary of all CMC employees demonstrated our spirit for the community. 3000 CMC people will create a great strength which positively inspire the community!"

From 2018-2020, through the UpRace virtual run, CMC and CMC TS’s runners have donated 100 million VND to Newborns Vietnam Fund - a UK charity based in Da Nang, operating with the aim of helping reduce preterm infant mortality in Vietnam by providing medical treatment facilities, bringing experts from the UK to support training for newborn nurses and doctors.

CMC Corporation also has many scholarship and computers donation programs for students in difficulty or talented students in information technology field. In March 2020, CMC sponsored scholarships for ASEAN, Korean and Japanese students to study information technology engineering programs. In June 2020, CMC TS donated 40 sets of computers worth more than 400 million VND to primary and secondary schools in Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province.
