On July 29, 2020 at Sofitel Plaza Saigon, CMC Saigon Technology and Solution Co., Ltd. (CMC TSSG) officially launched the Network Security Authorization Service.

The service will provide resources to monitor, detect, isolate, handle incidents and take responsibility for the safety of the entire information system of businesses 24/7. This is the 2nd Security Operation Center (SOC) of CMC Corporation.

The launch was attended by representatives of Departments, Boards and Branches such as the Southern Information Security Association (VNISA), Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, and directors. and IT management of financial institutions and businesses from many fields. Network Security Authorization Service helps customers continuously monitor and analyze all behaviors in the system such as network systems, security devices, personal computers, servers, databases, applications, website, ... to promptly detect suspicious acts potentially threatening the health and safety of the system. CMC SOC applies remote monitoring method - centralized analysis and separate transmission system with safety. The implementation of analytical monitoring, troubleshooting organization is carried out by a team of CMC SOC security experts who have obtained certificates on security and IT systems such as CISSP, CEH, ITIL.

The strength of the service is that customers continue to use previously invested security solutions. Using the service does not change the status of information technology system thanks to the advantages of Ecosystem of IBM. This helps the customer's security defense system remain independent. Another advantage is that customers can monitor the process of monitoring - troubleshooting and assessing the quality of service as committed.

CMC SOC provides five services at the request of customers including: Network security monitoring package, Network security and troubleshooting monitoring package, Emergency information security package, Digital tracking and verification package, Risk screening package and campaign. With these service packs, CMC performs network security monitoring 365/24/7 of customers' systems, provides methods to solve problems for each different system, provides onsite handling personnel. incident, collecting and investigating the cause of the incident, where the error arises and where the flaw is, actively seeking risks.

CMC TSSG has now implemented the above service packages, particularly the Risk screening package and campaign will be provided starting from Quarter IV/2020. To accomplish the overall work, CMC SOC needs to focus on three important elements: human - technology - process.
