CMC accompanies the "National Digital Data Building Program"

On the evening of February 24, 2022, at the Pan Pacific Hotel Hanoi, CMC Corporation successfully co-organized the event "ICT Meeting - Spring of the Year of the Cat 2023" together with 19 professional social organizations. The event had the theme "Key Focus: Building National Digital Data."

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Central Party Committee Member, Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Le Quang Huy, Central Party Committee Member, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology, and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman and CEO of CMC Corporation; Mr. Ha Thai Bao - Deputy CEO of VNPT IT; Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Director of Public Policy, TikTok Vietnam; along with the presence of leaders from IT and Telecommunications Associations, as well as representatives from IT and Telecommunications Clubs of various Departments, Institutes, and Universities in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Language and Speech Processing Club, and the Vietnamese Informatics Olympiad Club.

Attending the event, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors/Chairman of CMC Corporation, shared: "2023 is the year of digital data. Attending the event, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Information and Communications, stated: "2023 will be the year of national digital data, which involves protecting personal data, disclosing and building data at the ministry and local levels, opening up data for connectivity and sharing, ensuring data security, establishing a national big data center, processing digital data to create new value for the economy. The Ministry of Information and Communications will lead the year of national data, creating fundamental changes in data. Creating and harnessing data to generate new value is the most important distinction of digital transformation."

The "ICT Spring Meeting - Xuân Quý Mão" event is jointly organized by the Vietnam Computer Society and 19 professional organizations. This is an opportunity for agencies, businesses both in and outside of Vietnam, and entities active in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to connect, exchange, share insights, and initiate vibrant and practical activities for the year 2023. The theme of "Data Year 2023" will bring about fundamental changes in data management, encompassing data creation, collection, utilization, and the establishment of a scientific data foundation to generate new value and strength. As we sit here amidst the new trend of AI-powered solutions like ChatGPT, it marks the beginning of a "wave" in data utilization and artificial intelligence integration.
